Dréacht Polasaí Iontrála

Tá an Roinn Oideachais agus Óige ag iarraidh ar scoileanna athruithe a chur ina bpolasaithe rollaithe a bhaineann le clárú i ranganna speisialta agus iad ag iarraidh go mbeadh na hathruithe seo i bhfeidhm roimh thús clárú na bliana 2026. Chuige seo, tá dréacht den pholasaí cláraithe nua thíos agus na hathruithe go léir ann. Tá na hathruithe molta go léir i Mír 4.

Nuair atá an próiseas comhairliúcháin thart, déanfaidh an Bord Bainistíochta an dréacht nua a fhaomhadh roimh dheireadh na míosa seo. Tosnófar le clárú na bliana 2026 i Mí Dheireadh Fómhair.

The Department of Education and Youth has requested that schools make changes to their enrolment policies in relation to enrolment in special classes. They have advised that these amendments should be in place before the enrolments for 2026 begin. To this end, a draft enrolment policy is linked below. The proposed changes are all in section 4. Once the consultation process has ended, the Board of Management will ratify the new draft before the end of the month. The enrolment process for 2026 will begin in October.
