Covid-19:
The Board of Management discussed the current Covid-19 situation within the school and the wider community amid concerns in the growth rate of confirmed cases. The Board will issue a letter to parents regarding the latest guidelines and insisting that chlidren who are displaying any flu like symptoms be kept at home. The Board of Management have set aside part of the PPE Grant to purchase air purifiers and air monitors for each classroom.

Clárúcháin Scoile:
Enrolling for the upcoming school year 2022/23 is currently taking place from 15/11/21 – 03/12/21. Any parents who have not yet put their children’s names down for next year should do so now by contacting the school office to fill in the expression of interest form. Offer of places will be posted from the 08/12/21.

Pedestrian Gates:
The final date for objections to the planning application has passed and the County Council decision is due to be made on the 6th of December.

New seating for Library and Breakout Areas:
Th Board of Management have sanctioned the purchase of new seating for the school library as well as for just outside of it to allow for more reading space and for a reception area just inside the main school door.

Science Day:
Good Luck to all classes for the Science Day which will be held on Friday 19th November. A lot of hard work goes into preparing for the day and we wish all goes well. Unfortunately family members cannot be invited to the day again this year due to the onging Covid-19 pandemic.

Health and Safety Policy:
The Board of Management and Staff undertook the yearly review of the school’s Health and Safety Policy this month. The reviewed policy will be uploaded to the school’s website when ready.
