Rang Nóirín – Tearma a 2
From the ‘Write a Book’ competition to artwork and from singing to basketball, rang 5/6 were very busy this term. Everyone worked very hard on their stories for the ‘Write a Book’ competition. The stories we wrote are excellent. As part of art class we made clay tiles and they turned out very well. We also made flowers out of paper plates during our spring art lesson. We then gave the flowers to the Simon Community in Kilmantin for them to use at an exhibition in Dublin on the 17th of February. We learned the irish traditional song ‘Bean Pháidín’ and practised our basketball skills in the hall. Rang a 6 are currently preparing for their Confirmation. As part of our preparation we are going on a one day retreat which will take place in The Emmaus Retreat Centre, Swords on Monday 7th of March. This will give us the opportunity to reflect on the meaning of the Sacrament of Confirmation.
